John Rowe & Ann Moreman
John Rowe was born in Millbrook on the 25th November 1929. He joined the Royal Navy in 1848 and served for many years earning a Burmah medal in the 2nd Anglo Burmese war, he lived all his life in and around Millbrook and Kingsand. Marrying Ann Moreman on the 10th August 1857. He appeared to have had a fairly good life but he spent the last 20 years on his own Ann dying in 1886. He died in Cawsand on the 22nd June 1906.
Ann Moreman was born in Cawsand in December 1935 and lived all her life there or in Kingsand, her father was a fisherman and the family originated in Devon. John and Ann had several Chidren but although John lived to a good age,Ann died in her early fifties, on the 5th June 1886 and was buried in Maker.
